Andrea Robles

Andrea holds a Master degree in Transmedia, her animations were exhibited in international festivals and art spaces, in Mexico, South America, Europe, Australia, Canada and the United States. She was awarded with the New Media Arts Fellowship from the Rockefeller Foundation, also with the funding Support Program for Production and Research in Art and Media from CNART. With her series FE: an inventory of uncanny feelings, she was invited to be artist in residence at Q21 in Vienna. Her work is intimate and obscure with pieces that explore the intersection between the animated film and video installation. She is part of the National System of Art Creators where she is producing Nula dies signe linea, an animated documentary that will use artificial intelligence, the subject is about loss, grief and transformation. She lives and works in Mexico City.
