Dafni Xourafi
Daphne Xourafi is a director, animator and illustrator born in Athens, Greece. She graduated with a Master of Science in Animation and VFX from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, University of Dundee in the United Kingdom and her Bachelor's degree was in Communication and Mass media from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where she majored in film and television related courses. She has previously worked as an artist for animation studios in Athens, creating storyboards and animation for clients like Google, Piraeus Bank and the Acropolis Museum, while also working as a freelance storyboard artist/animator and illustrator for advertising agencies. Mine is her first short film, having won as a pitch the funding and support of the Greek Film Center and the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Greece, in 2020.
