“Symbiosis as a Metaphor” presents the poetics of the learning process of Artificial Intelligence. Through fragments of narrative, this process is portrayed as a symbiotic struggle between the human craft and the attempt of the Machine to imitate it. Using an AI agent that tries to recreate the sounds it has learned, the piece presents the products of the machine’s training towards the quest for the perfect, yet unachievable, imitation.
